We call ourselves modern day witchdoctors, because we use all the traditional treatments that people claim worked in the past, although the scientific community do not accept the theories, as most of the theories do not hold up under scientific examination, yet common sense will tell you if something worked in the past it must work today.

Now, if these traditional treatments worked in the past, and work
Today, and yet are not accepted by the scientific community, then there is no such thing as a fully qualified practitioner of the various treatments, e.g. (hypnosis. acupuncture. Osteopathy, homoeopathy etc.)
and we take the stand that any practitioner who claims to be fully qualified is conning the general public, and we object to medical doctors who get paid for there medical knowledge that they acquired at medical college hiding behind there qualifications and charging the general public when using traditional treatments when there is no scientific reason for these to work. (These quacks should only be aloud to charge the patients if and when they get results.)
We also object to any non medical practitioner charging the general public without getting results, especially when they claim they are fully qualified when there are no recognised qualifications.
If there is no scientific reason for traditional treatments to work and scientists accept that they sometimes do, the only other scientific explanation for this to happen must be due to the placebo effect which means, a trigger for the body to heal itself.
